Red and yellow marble

In the new picture of Kendra in a gypsy outfit on the front page:

there is a red and yellow marble at the bottom edge in the middle. It looks almost like it's floating and it looks very much like the green marble that lets you use I think the stone key ruins portal.

What could it mean? I notice the room Kendra is in looks very similar to the room Rose was in during the halloween event:

You can even see the same swarm of bats in the righthand window of Kendra's pic.

Of course that could just be Crow re-using a room model but it could also mean that red marble can be found in that room when you visit Rose.

Or maybe it means you can find the red marble around Kendra at the Iron Horse Gym? I tried looking and clicking around there but didn't find anything.

I also looked at all the other images posted on the front page for clues and didn't see anything additional, but that's worth double checking.

The bead is similar to others found around the island, so I think it means there's a red one hidden around the island now, or will be soon. Doesn't have to be around Kendra, it could be anywhere.

Please look through the other threads before posting a new topic. We already have at least 3 on the halloween puzzle alone

There were no threads on it when I started this topic. Plus the red bead you get during Halloween puzzle is dark and bright red, while the bead in the Kendra picture is dark red and bright yellow. I don't think it's the same bead and nobody has mentioned finding it in the other threads.

It's the same bead. Hence why the front page posts say Crow has been giving hints all month

Are you saying that based on some insider knowledge or is that just your opinion? Because the red bead in your inventory turns all the way around and there's not a speck of yellow on it. Unless the glowing yellow is some sort of secret "powered up" state you can get it into via unknown means. That or putting yellow in the Kendra image was a mistake.

Actually, I'm gonna step in here and say that the red and yellow bead is in fact a different one from the red bead -- although it is connected to the Halloween puzzle.

I had to ask Crow for the official ruling on that because I wasn't sure either.

Food for thought, this one happens to be the exact same color as Rose's eyes. Also, Rose has no reflection

Well the gate is still open, so I guess we can continue. We never found out what we were meant to do at The Walk, and The Viewer did post an idea we can start with.

Well, here's what I've tried:

• Rose is in the lobby, so I carefully examined the area to the right of the lobby.  
  
• There's a fallen speaker that seems suspicious but clicking speakers does nothing.
  
• You can watch the TV.  I keep thinking there's something almost visible in the static on some channels, like in the Magic Eye puzzles, but I can't really see anything.
  
• Channel 07 occasionally flashes up something that looks like it's from "The Ring" movie, which may be just a spooky Halloween thing.  Clicking in the ring does nothing.
  
• Stared at each static channel for a couple minutes to see if other images would appear, but nothing.  Nothing new appeared on 07 after 10 mins.
  
• Looked all over Rose's Private Room for secrets, found none.
  
• Clicked Rose's eyes.
  
• Rose says she wants to **** like an animal so I did all her scenes, but nothing changed.  Did a couple scenes twice.
  
• Stared at portal to Rose's room for awhile - it doesn't change.  Clicking the edges of portal doesn't do anything.
  
• Explored Iron Horse again since the red/yellow bead was pictured with Kendra.  Clicked all over Kendra in each of her scenes.  Discovered you can pull off her pink tights, but no bead.
  
• Explored showers.
  
• Explored Neon Lights.
  
• The portal should be outside Neon Lights but nothing is visible through the windows.  Same for other floors.
  
• Farther into the lobby is a poster for Nariatt Beach and Apollo's at The Library.  A hint?  The library had the purple bead and the red bead so it seems heavily involved.  I found you can approach a lady behind the counter at Apollos but she doesn't respond and I don't see anything to do.
  
• Crow's new news tracker in the upper left of the game says Gianna's scenes have been updated, but I don't see any difference.  Could there be a bead hidden in her scenes?  I can't find one.
  
• Going back to see Rose in Tower Lobby after **** her in private room doesn't change her text.
  

Those numbers on the PDA at Crow's Nest you need to pick up to get the red bead to appear have got to be involved in this puzzle somehow because it said they were numbers Rose asked for:



Someone in the Halloween puzzle thread said they remember seeing an expanded area of The Walk to the south west, which would seem to coincide better with where the Narriat brochure shows there's another example of the language.  I remember seeing that expanded area of the walk many months ago (might have been called The Walk - Sunset Shores?) and I think it always said it was in production.  So searching the current walk for Nariatt may be pointless.

I keep thinking there might be something hidden in another one of the books in the library but there are so many I haven't wanted to look much.

The purple bead being found in The Library area makes me think it's also likely involved in this puzzle but it doesn't seem to open any additional portal destinations at stone circle ruins.  I tried clicking each of the two starting arrows, then each of the symbols around the outer ring, and no new destinations.  Since the red bead didn't have to do with stone circle, the purple doesn't necessarily have to either.

It might just be because i am tired but did the background change for kendra when you go back to the options for what to do to her after you have taken off her tights?

I took a screenshot before and after and the options page (where you choose what sexual acts to do with her) looks identical except for what she says. She's also wearing her tights again when you return to the room.

I also tried setting my system clock to Oct 31, 11:58pm and waiting till after midnight at the portal and in Rose's room. Nothing happened.

Did you try Kendra's scene in both places. The tower and the main hall. I'm checking the main hall now. Ok just checked and nothing different

It's odd there's a Kendra scene in the main hall as well. Is Kendra anywhere else in the world?

I looked around the main hall for beads or anything unusual. Only thing I found was a few odd bright green pixels on the bench to the right of Zoe in the main room, but clicking around it does nothing.

The bright green pixels are in multiple places not just in the main room.
Wait never mind i see what you mean. That is probably just a glitch.

Found the red and yellow marble, you have to finish the halloween puzzle in its entirety, to get to Rose's room.  It's in a room to the left once you're in the private room, in a chest.

No idea what it lets you do though, I haven't thoroughly tested what else changes with it now...

OMG I totally thought you were trolling but there is an obvious room to the left if you pan left when you first enter the area (if you approach Rose one step you can no longer pan left far enough to see it).  However, I'm almost sure I panned as far left and right as I could the first time I came to the area two weeks ago and there was no room, or the room wasn't clickable...  Unless maybe the room only appears when you have the blue bead?

Edit: I was thinking it's odd that Rose's room is even still accessible so long after Halloween, so it could be this part of the puzzle was added later and Crow is trying to give us time to solve it...

I do have gold, but what marbles do you have in your inventory?  One possibility is that the room on the left only appears if you have the blue and green marble in your inventory, which I didn't have the first time I searched Rose's room and I didn't find that room on the left.  The blue and green marble is found in Naranvad (see the volcanos thread in this forum).

If the blue/green marble makes no difference, try visiting Sun Temple Ruins between 12pm and 12:59pm, then go back and search Rose's room. If that actually makes a difference, please let us know. Actually, Sun Temple Ruins is a gold only area so I guess you can't do that... but if anyone else reads this, it's something to try.

Does anyone remember if the room on the left was in Rose's room last year?  I suddenly have this vague memory of people finding that chest last year but it was locked or empty...  I may be totally imagining that.  I wish the old threads weren't deleted.

If having marbles in inventory can now make new areas appear, I guess it's worth looking in all areas for new doors or portals once you have the red and yellow marble in inventory.  I took quick looks in Naranvad, Vaultus, Library, and Nariatt beach, but I didn't explore extensively.

I also recently noticed a space ship rising up on the right side as you approach Vaultus.  If you move back and move forward, it lowers and lands out of view.  I'm not sure if that was added recently or it's appearing due to having a particular marble.  Although, again, I have a vague memory of it being there last year when Vaultus was first discovered.

I think the Halloween event is over the portal outside the tower is gone for me. Does this mean I missed out on getting the yellow and red bead?

The yellow and red bead has been moved. It is still in game.
