i wanted to ask any artists out there for a few tips i guess you could say ive always been fascinated by anime most my life sense i was thirteen actually idk if anyone else is like this but sometimes when im just chilling with my eyes closed listening to music i go off in my own little world making up my own anime characters wepons storylines superpowers fights est.... but i can't draw for **** i can see it clearly in my head but when it comes to actually drawing i suck i just wanted to ask do u have to be born with it or does practice make perfect id love to be able to draw like that droll dude hell even that straypup dudes are great how do u guys make the colors so smooth do u use paint or is it like digitally put in with a laptop? im actually in the middle of drawing my first serious drawing all i have to work with is 24 coloring pencils XD it started out as a huskydude then wound up being a white tiger don't ask me how it just happened has that happened to any of you before? lol

I agree however,
You should also research techniques aswell as just general research, by this I mean looking at a fashion magazine for example and taking into account the crease lines of a jacket, where the light hits it etc etc.
It is mainly practice as your brain will develop; without you even realising it it will be able to see and draw out lines with the correct arch and correct length.

I use #2 pencil what you want to do is layer it to build up. do light outlines then shade. BUILD UP DONT USE PRESSURE.

I draw on any kind of white printer paper and use a "pink pearl" pink eraser. it takes time to hone drawing skills so be patient.

3 important things to do if u want ot become a artist like zez ppl
1.FOCUS! if you want to make something that amusez friendz nd the world then focus is your best friend.

2.Imagination. imagination has a good effect on your work and it will give you a stable mind so youll become ze greatest artist

3.Free draw. might sound stupid but it is give you a more stable mind and will also make you almost in a easy stage.
